
bow flamp
2016-2018
the bow flamp is a springy, rubbery fluorescent lamp. an exploration of the flamp project, it shares the same socket technology of it’s flamp cousins. the spring steel skeletal structure serves two purposes: it conduct electricity and creates the lamp’s curvy form.
a collaboration with digital fabricator Asa Peller.

we explored many spring steel arm contours and thicknesses to find the ideal springiness and electrical conduction.
